DC Tumblr Meetup: It took me ages to find this group. I actually thought they had disbanded and left because I was an hour late anyway. When I eventually found them, it was a blast for all the 30 minutes I had time to spend with them, sweating in the giant sauna known as DC in the summertime.

We’re not sure what happened to the other 180+ people who RSVP’d, but the 14 of us were diverse in age, taste, personalities and travel distances but we still got along perfectly. It was bittersweet when I had to leave for another engagement, but from what I read in each of their Tumblrs, the rest of the day seemed super exciting, wreaking havoc across monuments and Georgetown.
